Tripod is looking for an experienced Building Control Surveyor to join a local authority team. This role requires minimum BSR Class 2F registration and involves a mix of site inspection and plan checking.

Key Responsibilities:

Assess plans for a range of construction projects
Conduct on-site inspections to ensure compliance with building regulations
Provide professional advice via phone, email and in person
Inspect dangerous structures during working hours
Maintain clear and accurate records of inspections and communications
Support Trainee and Assistant Surveyors
Assist the Principal Surveyor and Team Manager with wider team functions

Requirements:

BSR Registration - Minimum Class 2F
Full corporate membership with RICS, CABE, CIOB or equivalent
Full UK driving licence, access to a vehicle and business use car insurance
Ability to work independently and collaboratively
Strong commitment to ongoing professional development
