SF Recruitment are delighted to be working exclusively with a leading Wolverhampton based business in their search for an Assistant Management Accountant. Reporting into the Financial Controller this role would suit an ambitious Part Qualified Accountant with ambitions of becoming qualified and gaining a broad range of experience from Management Accounts to budgeting and forecasting. You will have a key involvement in preparing management accounts along with other reports used by management, preparing balance sheet reconciliations, along with other ad-hoc duties. You will work closely with other departments and provide key management information to inform business strategy.
Duties Include:
- Preparation of monthly management accounts for your business entities
- Liaise with operational team members to analyse costs and variances to budget and forecasts
- Preparation of weekly/monthly management reports
- Input of accruals/prepayments
- Preparation of budget/forecast
- Assisting with month end processes
- Assisting with capital expenditure requests, capitalising assets and calculation of depreciation
- Balance sheet reconciliation
- Undertake other tasks as requested
Key Requirements:Â
- Numerate with good communication skills.
- ACCA/CIMA Part Qualified or Qualified by ExperienceÂ
- Excel (including Pivot Tables, Look Up Tables etc) and Word to a good standard.
