My Wolverhampton based Distribution client are looking for a Head of Sales to join their team on a full time and permanent basis.

Duties will include:-
- Develop and implement the company's overall sales strategy and plan.
- Set and track sales goals and targets.
- Forecast sales performance and identify growth opportunities.
- Analyse market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs.
- Lead, motivate, and coach the sales team to achieve targets.
- Recruit, train, and develop sales personnel.
- Provide regular feedback and performance reviews.
- Manage the sales pipeline and ensure effective sales processes.
- Implement and maintain sales tools and technologies.
- Monitor sales performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with other departments (e.g., marketing, product development) to align sales efforts.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers.
- Understand customer needs and preferences.
- Address customer concerns and ensure satisfaction.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities.
- Represent the company at industry events and conferences.
- Lead presentations and engage with key stakeholders.
- Analyse sales data to identify trends and opportunities.
- Prepare and present sales reports and forecasts.
- Use data to inform decision-making and improve sales performance.
Key Skills:-
- Must have worked in a Senior lead position within Sales
- Proven capability of increasing sales growth
- If you have worked within Distribution / Manufacturing this would be advantageous
- Foster a positive and collaborative team environment with ability to drive the sales team and enhance business growth
- Experience in Sales strategy and planning
