Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant
Location: Walsall
Pay Rate: £85.13 - £100.07
Hours: 8:30am – 3:30pm
Smart Education is currently recruiting a dedicated and experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to support pupils in a SEN primary school in Wolverhampton. This role involves working with students who have social, emotional, and behavioural needs (SEMH) and severe learning difficulties.
About the Role:
As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with the classroom teacher to provide tailored support to students, ensuring they can access learning in a supportive and engaging environment. Your role will involve one-on-one and small group interventions, focusing on helping students develop essential skills such as emotional regulation, resilience, and independence.

Requirements:
Experience working with students with social, emotional, and behavioural needs (SEMH) and SLD (severe learning disabilities).
Ability to support students in both one-on-one and group settings
Happy to complete personal care
Strong communication and behaviour management skills
A patient, adaptable, and pupil-focused approach to supporting students
