Join our vibrant team as the UK Recruitment Manager in the Directorate of External Engagement! This is a fantastic opportunity to lead our dynamic UK Recruitment team and make a significant impact on student recruitment in the Higher Education sector.
About the Role:
As the UK Recruitment Manager, you will spearhead our recruitment strategy, focusing on engaging with schools and colleges to attract prospective students. You'll be the driving force behind our recruitment activities, overseeing a talented team that includes Recruitment Coordinators, a Student Ambassador Scheme Coordinator, and Recruitment Events Assistants.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement a comprehensive approach to school and college account management, aiming to exceed recruitment targets for undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
- Team Management: Lead and support Recruitment Coordinators to create and deliver annual faculty recruitment plans aligned with institutional objectives.
- Engagement Framework: Craft and enhance our engagement framework with schools and colleges, collaborating with the UK Partnerships team to maximise impact.
- On-Campus Activities: Innovate on-campus recruitment initiatives, including tours and subject taster days, ensuring seamless execution of university-wide events.
- Data Analysis & Reporting: Provide insightful reports on recruitment activities, evaluating effectiveness and suggesting improvements.
- Networking: Build and maintain relationships with educational stakeholders, utilising your networking skills to enhance recruitment performance.
- CRM Champion: Become an expert in our Customer Relationship Management system, promoting its use across the recruitment function.

- Experience: Significant background in student recruitment within Higher Education and account management, with a proven track record of delivering successful promotional activities.
- Leadership Skills: Demonstrated ability to manage and inspire a team, fostering a collaborative environment.
- Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse audiences, including school and college staff.
- Analytical Mindset: Strong ability to write reports and analyse data to inform decision-making.
- Flexibility & Innovation: A proactive and creative approach to recruitment strategies, embracing the ever-changing landscape of Higher Education.
