Assistant Site Manager - Healthcare Projects - Wolverhampton

We're partnering with a well-respected regional main contractor in Wolverhampton to recruit an enthusiastic Assistant Site Manager to support the delivery of vital healthcare projects across the region. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a stable and growing business with a strong pipeline of work, specifically focusing on projects within hospital environments.

Working closely with the Site Manager, you'll play a crucial role in the day-to-day management of construction activities, ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, and to the highest standards. This will involve:

• Assisting with the planning and programming of works.
• Supervising subcontractors and direct labour.
• Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Monitoring progress and reporting to the Site Manager.
• Maintaining quality control procedures.
• Managing site logistics and materials.
• Contributing to site meetings and resolving any issues that arise.

To be successful in this role, you'll ideally have:

• Previous experience in a site-based role within the construction industry.
• A relevant construction qualification (e.g., NVQ, HNC/HND, Degree).
• A valid CSCS card.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• A proactive and problem-solving approach.
• Experience working on healthcare projects would be advantageous but isn't essential.

In return, our client offers a competitive salary in the region of 30,000 - 45,000 per annum, plus a comprehensive package.
