Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Leadership: Own the execution of the long-term quality strategy (3+ years) while also managing tactical and operational plans focused on achieving short to medium-term results (less than 1-2 years).
  • Team Management: Lead and inspire a team of experienced professionals, fostering a culture of quality and continuous improvement.
  • Problem Solving: Tackle complex challenges by gathering detailed information, analysing issues, and leveraging past experiences to develop effective solutions.
  • Influence and Communicate: Engage with stakeholders both within and outside the organization, influencing policies, practices, and procedures to enhance quality outcomes.
  • Operational Excellence: Develop and implement tactical actions and operational plans to align with the functional strategy and drive performance improvements.
  • Budget Accountability: Manage elements of the budget and ensure optimal resource allocation to achieve quality objectives.

What We're Looking For:

  • Experience: Relevant experience in quality management within the Aerospace industry, or an Advanced Degree with practical experience.
  • Educational Background: A degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) is preferred.
  • Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead diverse teams and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Analytical Mindset: Strong problem-solving skills with the capacity to navigate undefined challenges across multiple sites and products.
  • Commitment to Quality: A passion for enhancing processes and systems to elevate overall performance.
