Join Our Team as an Adult Social Worker!
Are you a dedicated and passionate Social Worker looking to make a real difference in the lives of adults with care and support needs? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you! Our client, a prominent council in Wolverhampton, is seeking an Adult Social Worker to join their dynamic team on a temporary full-time basis.
Contract Type: Temporary
Hourly Rate: 28.40 per hour (Umbrella - in line with MOC Rates)
Location: Various locations across Wolverhampton
Driving Required: Yes (own vehicle)
To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements
- Fully qualified Social Worker with a completed ASYE and a minimum of 3 years of experience
- Based in or near Wolverhampton
- Willing to travel for work
- Not been permanent in the West Midlands in the last year (MOC rules apply)
- Registered with Social Work England (SWE)
- A clear DBS is required for the role (we will conduct this if you are not on the update service)
Your Role and Responsibilities:
- Provide professional social work services by collaborating with agencies, health colleagues, and providers to assess needs and deliver appropriate interventions.
- Engage with adults, carers, families, groups, and communities, ensuring high-quality service delivery within statutory guidelines.
- Assess needs and plan interventions that safeguard adults with additional needs while promoting positive well being.
- Tackle varied and complex cases across early intervention and statutory levels.
- Collaborate with colleagues within social work teams and external partners to achieve the best outcomes for adults requiring care and support.
- Identify suitable care and support packages that deliver value for money, ensuring accountability for interventions requiring care and support expenditure.
- Handle sensitive information with care, maintaining accuracy, confidentiality, and security at all times.
