The school is looking for a calm and gentle SEN Teaching Assistant to provide 1:1 support to a Year 2 child with ADHD and dyslexia. The child is currently working at an Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) level and requires simplified work and engaging activities during interventions. Key Responsibilities

  • Provide tailored 1:1 support to a Year 2 child with ADHD and dyslexia.
  • Simplify learning materials to match the child's EYFS level.
  • Create and implement engaging activities to support the child's learning and development.
  • Foster a calm and supportive learning environment.
  • Collaborate with teachers and other staff to ensure the child's needs are met.
  • Monitor and report on the child's progress.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Experience working with children with ADHD and dyslexia.
  • Needs a Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification
