We are currently seeking a dedicated and nurturing SEN Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Wolverhampton. This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of a supportive team committed to providing high-quality education and personalised support to every child.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work 1:1 or in small groups with pupils with SEN, including autism, ADHD, and speech and language needs
  • Support the class teacher with planning and delivering tailored learning activities
  • Foster a safe, stimulating and encouraging learning environment
  • Monitor and report on pupil progress and behaviour
  • Build strong relationships with pupils, staff, and parents/carers

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working with children with SEN (in a school or similar setting)
  • A patient, empathetic, and resilient approach
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • A relevant qualification (e.g., Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant) is desirable but not essential
  • Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to apply)
