We’re looking for a proactive Management Accountant to play a pivotal role in our client's dynamic Finance team. This is a fantastic opportunity to take ownership of financial processes, drive performance, and support strategic decision-making across the business.
What You’ll Be DoingAs our client's Management Accountant, you’ll be at the heart of their financial operations. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Producing monthly management accounts for business units and group consolidation, with insightful analysis.
- Partnering with stakeholders to understand financial drivers and explain variances.
- Providing daily financial guidance to operational and commercial teams.
- Leading financial reviews with division heads and tracking budget performance.
- Monitoring title investment returns and product profitability across channels and customers.
- Managing month-end processes: journals, accruals, prepayments, and provisions.
- Analysing stock turnover, profitability, and obsolescence.
- Evaluating costs, pricing, and performance against business plans.
- Overseeing production WIP and delivering variance analysis.
- Preparing board packs and financial reports monthly and quarterly.
- Leading KPI reviews and ensuring accurate VAT returns.
- Driving forecasting, budgeting, and audit processes.
- Managing group banking, invoice discounting, and cash flow forecasting.
- Supporting finance teams across the business and handling ad hoc projects.
- ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualified
- Strong commercial acumen and business insight.
- Excellent analytical and numerical skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with Sage Intacct is a plus.
- Clear and confident communicator.
