Our client are currently seeking a Contract Manager to join their industry leading Term Maintenance division to manage their new London schools trust contract. The contract is to deliver electrical and mechanical planned and reactive maintenance.
As Contract Manager you will be responsible for the overall delivery of all aspects of the work including labour management, financials and deliverables.
The duties of the Contract Manager role will include:
Supporting our clients from the pre- planning and pre-programming of works through to completion
Writing health and safety plans, method statements and risk assessments, ensuring that all sites have the appropriate documentation
Ensuring the smooth running of sites through regular liaison with key stakeholders, supervisors, and sub-contractors
Ensuring that the works programme is effectively resourced with labour, plant and materials
Monitoring works and performance against the contract to enable the accurate submission of accurate monthly invoices and final account settlement
Building effective and professional working relationships with clients and key stakeholders
Managing a team of supervisors and support staff, ensuring the continuous development of skills by undertaking training needs analysis
Undertake site visits, audit visits and client meetings.
Requirements:
Need for a proactive Contract Manager who has experience in delivering public sector contracts in the hard services engineering field. You will have solid experience in MS 365 and facilities management work flow management system.
Experience of working on Term Maintenance contracts or for public bodies would be beneficial.
You will hold a NVQ level 4 / HND or above in an engineering or constrcution -related field as well as a CSCS card, a full UK driving license and a safety management qualification such as IOSH or SMSTS.
Wage: £60-65k + dependant on experience

Hybrid working - 2 office-based days and 3 days work from home. Site visits and client meetings will be worked within this schedule.
