About the Role

A friendly and inclusive primary school in Chigwell is seeking a committed 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant to support a pupil with Special Educational Needs. This role involves providing personalised support throughout the school day, helping the pupil access learning, build confidence, and make steady progress within a supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide 1:1 support tailored to the pupil’s individual learning needs

  • Assist with classroom activities and differentiated tasks

  • Implement strategies recommended by the SENCo and class teacher

  • Support social, emotional, and communication development

  • Promote independence and positive learning behaviours

  • Build a trusting and consistent relationship with the pupil

  • Work collaboratively with staff and parents

The Ideal Candidate Will Have
