Project Engineer

Are you ready to take ownership of projects from the first site survey through to final sign-off-while still staying hands-on and close to the work?

My client is a growing UK renewable energy installation company looking for a skilled engineer who's ready to step up, lead from the front, and deliver outstanding results with their ongoing projects.

What you'll be doing:

  • Leading on-site installations and coordinating subcontractors
  • Carrying out hands-on mechanical/electrical works, including welding
  • Taking final measurements, planning schedules, and keeping projects on track
  • Troubleshooting issues and commissioning completed installations

Skills and experience required:

  • Solid understanding of mechanical and electrical systems (experience in Renewables, Anaerobic Digestion, agricultural, Energy from Waste or Biomass)
  • Hold a Level 3 qualification or higher in an Engineering field
  • Strong communication, organisation, and numeracy skills
  • Relevant licences and certifications (CSCS, SSST, telehandler, working at height, etc.)
  • Willingness to travel and work flexibly across the UK, including overnight stays.
