Responsibilities
- Conduct three welfare checks per shift, either in person or by phone, to ensure the well-being of the young people.
- Document interactions with clients, noting their daily activities and any support provided.
- Maintain a supportive environment without engaging in conflicts.
- Utilize the lone worker device for safety and communication purposes.
- Participate in a comprehensive induction program to understand the role and responsibilities fully.
- Compassionate and patient individual with a genuine interest in supporting young people.
- Strong communication skills for effective interaction with clients and team members.
- Ability to work independently and make informed decisions when necessary.
- Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and professionalism in all interactions.
- Flexibility to adapt to varying needs and situations within the residential setting.
