  • The salary for this position is competitive, and candidates are expected to have a minimum of two years of relevant experience.

Experienced Children's Social Worker, who is confident in completing a range of assessments of children and their families, including Child and Family Assessments, Parenting Assessment and Sibling assessments, managing a range of cases, Child in Need, Child Protection, Child in Care, and cases in legal proceedings, both Public and Private Law. The candidate should also ideally have experience of undertaking Joint / Single Agency Children Act 1989 Section 47. The candidate will need to have excellent verbal and written communication skills, and have a working knowledge of Signs of Safety. Whilst the candidate will be supported and supervised by an experienced, permanent Practice Supervisor, it is expected that the candidate will be able to work independently, and be confident in decision making in the best interests of children and families. The candidate will be expected to lead multi - agency plans support children and families, and will have the benefit of working with Lincolnshire strong Early Help / Future 4 Me colleagues. The candidate will be required to be part of a weekly duty rota on a rotation basis, on these weeks the candidate will be required to be office based for all 5 days of the week. On the other three weeks flexible work / home arrangements are in place, with an expectation that the candidate will be in the office 3 days a week, and able to work from home the other 2 (but must be available if required to visit).
