Management Accountant

A leading UK manufacturing business with ambitious growth plans is seeking a Management Accountant to join its finance team on a permanent basis. The RoleReporting to the Finance Manager, the Management Accountant will coordinate the preparation of key business information and provide financial advice to senior management and operational teams. You will play a critical role in supporting effective decision-making, production planning, cost control, and financial performance across the manufacturing operations. Ensuring financial records are accurate and complete, you will maintain strong financial controls and ensure compliance with regulatory and statutory standards. Additionally, you will contribute to the continuous improvement of monitoring and control systems to support the organisation's commercial objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and deliver insightful financial reporting to support production and operational decisions.
  • Partner with manufacturing site teams to monitor performance, cost efficiencies, and profitability.
  • Ensure financial reporting meets all internal and external regulatory requirements.
  • Assist in the development and maintenance of robust financial control processes.
  • Support and manage the workload of the finance team to meet business priorities.

The PersonYou will be currently working in a similar finance role within a manufacturing or industrial environment, with a solid understanding of financial processes and controls. You will bring:

  • Proven experience in analysing operational and financial performance and driving improvements.
  • Experience with financial systems and staff supervision.
  • Strong organisational skills, able to prioritise and meet deadlines.
  • A relevant professional qualification (or be working towards one).
