Job Title: Semi-Senior AccountantLocation: WorcesterSalary: Up to £32,000 DOEHours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday (5 days in the office)We are excited to be recruiting for an experienced Semi-Senior Accountant for a well-established accountancy firm in Worcester. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated individual with at least 18 months of experience in practice to join a dynamic and growing team. The firm works with a range of owner-managed businesses, many of which have a turnover of up to £10 million, offering plenty of variety and the opportunity to take on exciting responsibilities.Key Responsibilities:

Prepare year-end accounts for Ltd companies, including sole traders and partnerships
Assist with the preparation and submission of personal tax returns and VAT returns
Provide ad hoc management accounts and cash flow reporting
Assist senior accountants with various client-related tasks
Maintain and develop client relationships by providing timely responses to queries

Requirements:

Minimum of 18 months experience in an accountancy practice
AAT qualified (they will support your ACCA / ACA)
Experience preparing Ltd company accounts, personal tax returns, and VAT returns
Strong experience with accounting software such as Xero, IRIS Accountancy etc
Excellent attention to detail, with strong analytical skills
Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently
Good communication skills and the ability to build strong client relationships
