Service Manager - Learning Disabilities / Autism

Hybrid - Workington

We are currently recruiting for a Service Manager for one of the UK's leading learning disabilities and Autism at home providers, working partly remote managing 2 packages in the Workington area. Travel will be expected to this location on an adhoc basis.

Joining this large community care provider, you will be responsible for managing the delivery of packages within the community.

Purpose of the role:

  • Coordinate the set-up of a new client package, including undertaking the initial assessment meeting with the client to determine their needs. (Upon either on discharge from hospital or transfer from another provider).
  • Recruitment of suitable support workers to manage the care of the client, ensuring candidates are recruited in line with CQC Standards.
  • Prepare monthly rotas in a timely manner for the care assistants and support workers, and ensure all clients receive service as designated in their care plan.
  • Build and maintain effective working relationships with key members across the business, including the OM, clinicians, other CCM’s within the service and direct reports.

Skills/Requirements
