Our world-class CNC machining facilities incorporate the latest 5-axis technology, including Mazak Integrex multi-tasking centres, capable of producing complex machined cast components in aluminium, stainless steel and iron materials.
We now have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Mazak Integrex 5-Axis CNC Setter Machinist to join our team.

Role Summary
• Setting and operating 5-axis CNC machines to prove out the process of new products and batch production.
• Creating and editing programs online using Mazak (Mazatrol Smooth)and/or Heidenhain controls. Complex parts are generally programmed offline, and the candidate will be required to be highly competent to engineer and prove out the parts on the machine.
• Performing in-process manual measurement and signing off work instructions to comply with Quality Management and Internal Process Control.
• Maintaining high standards of documents and product traceability.
About You
• You will have proven experience machining complex components in aluminium and ferrous materials, ideally castings.
• Will have used Heidenhain and/ or Mazak 5-axis controls. We would be interested in
candidates who have also programmed offline.
• Due to the complexity of cast components machined you will have strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Comfortable with proving out development parts and new methods of manufacture.
• Eligible to work within the UK and looking for a long-term progressive career.
What we offer
Job Type: Full-time, immediate start.
Hours: 40 hrs per week — 07.00 am to 15.30 pm Monday to Friday.
Holidays: 23 days (inclusive of bank holidays) per year.
Pay: This is a permanent position with an hourly rate of £16.00 to £20.00 per hour,
dependent upon experience. Overtime paid at 1.5 times the hourly rate.
