Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Chef de Partie to join our dynamic kitchen brigade. This role is vital to ensuring that each section of our kitchen delivers consistent, high-quality dishes in line with our culinary vision.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Take full responsibility for your section (e.g., grill, pastry, sauce) during service
  • Prepare, cook, and present dishes to the standards set by the Head Chef
  • Work efficiently under pressure to ensure timely delivery of orders
  • Assist in the development of new menu items
  • Maintain high standards of hygiene and cleanliness in your area
  • Monitor stock levels and assist with ordering and inventory management
  • Train and supervise commis chefs or junior staff in your section
  • Ensure compliance with food safety and health & safety regulations

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a similar role within a hotel or high-quality restaurant
  • Strong cooking skills and knowledge of a range of cuisines and techniques
  • Excellent time management and organisational abilities
  • Ability to lead and inspire junior staff in your section
  • Positive attitude and a genuine passion for food
  • NVQ Level 2/3 in Professional Cookery (or equivalent) desirable
  • Food Hygiene Level 2 & Food Allergen (we can assist with training)
  • Own transport or live in available

Working Hours:
Flexible shifts including evenings, weekends, and public holidays, depending on rota.
