Qualified Social Worker, Court Pod

I’m currently seeking a qualified Social Worker who is required to join a Court Pod that sits within the looked after children’s team based in North Wales. The Court Pod work specifically with Children and families through Court Proceedings. We are recruiting for Experienced Social Workers to manage an allocated caseload of up to 6 families within court proceedings, which includes the management and decision-making involved with cases, some being high complexity and/or high-risk cases. These may be related to Child protection/ Care & Support/ Deprivation of liberty /cases subject to Court action/ school attendance, providing social worker support to children / children at risk and their families and carers.You will be expected to be office based twice per week. A condensed week may be considered. As a qualified Social Worker will have experience of: • Liaising with other professionals • Knowledge of relevant legislation • Working with children on the Child Protection Register, Looked after Children and Duty and Assessment• Attending and giving evidence in court • Working within busy authorities and able to manage a caseload effectively• Working in a multi-agency setting As a qualified Social Worker you MUST be: • Social Work England/Wales registration• Eligible to work in the UK• Hold a full UK license• Post-qualified experience• Degree level or equivalent in Social WorkWhy Choose Pertemps?• A Dedicated consultant who has access to all Social Work roles across the UK and is available for you to speak to• An easy registration process (all done online)• Ongoing compliance managed for you.• Prompt and reliable payroll and lots more.Referral schemeNot interested but know someone who is?
