Mechanical Project Engineer - Water Industry

Perfect role for a Fitter or Supervisor ready to take the next step

This is a permanent role/requirement paid CIS - £60,000 salary is calculated with 4 weeks holiday and no overtime/call-outs

A specialist mechanical contractor is looking for a Mechanical Project Engineer to work on their Southern Water framework. They cover new installations and also carry out maintenance on clean and wastewater projects.

Duties for Mechanical Project Engineer:

  • Work across multiple projects or one large scheme on the delivery of mechanical services in water 
  • Ensure that teams are kept up to date with project progress  
  • Overseeing RAMS 
  • Assist in ensuring a quality service is provided to the client
  • Being involved in planning and coordinating the projects  
  • Ensure the project is running on time and budget 
  • Ensure health & safety is adhered to 
  • Be responsible for site inspections and progress reports 

Qualifications and experience for Mechanical Project Engineer:

  • IOSH, SSSTS or NEBOSH general certificate would be an advantage 

  • Microsoft Office literate 

  • Experience working in the water industry or similar industrial environment
