This role is on a permanent basis and is office-based.

Are you a Quality orQHSEManager, from a manufacturing environment, looking to join a renowned leader in the development of cutting-edge sensor technology, where you will take on a pivotal role, leading and advancing the Quality andHSEfunctions of a rapidly growing business?

You will be joining a collaborative business, well known for its excellent retention and company culture.

The Company:Were working with a pioneering company specialising in the development of world-class environmental monitoring sensors and systems for exploring the ocean and other aquatic environments.

Established for over 60 years, they supply into crucial markets such as Defence, Marine Science & Research and Energy.

The Role:

This role would suit someone with a strong background in Quality Management for manufacturing, ideally also possessing HSE management experience.

Youll be a key member of the management team, leading and developing all Quality, Health, Safety and Environmental processes, for a growing and highly reputable manufacturer.

Day to day:
  • 70/30 split between Quality and HSE
  • Manage and maintain the ISO 9001 Quality Management System
  • Conduct audits and project inspections; analyse complaints and non-conformances
  • Champion quality best practices across the organisation
  • Promote QHSE awareness to employees, subcontractors and other relevant parties
  • Monitor risks and conduct safety inspections in the workplace
  • Create and review Risk Assessments and COSHH Assessments
  • Assess and implement relevant standards (e.g., ISO 13485, 14001, 45001).
The Individual:

Were looking for people who can show:
  • QHSE or Quality Manager, with a background in Manufacturing
  • Eligible for Security Clearance
  • Ideally relevant certification such as NEBOSH, COSHH, NGC, IOSH, ISO9001 QMS Auditing
  • Ideally Degree or equivalent relating to Engineering / Manufacturing
