Financial Reporting Specialist– About the role
You will be responsible for overseeing the financial reporting process, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and integrity of financial data. Your key responsibilities will be:
- Maintain and strengthen internal control measures to support robust financial governance
- Prepare monthly financial statements and deliver insightful analysis to support strategic decision-making
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline processes and improve reporting accuracy
- Develop, implement, and continuously assess internal controls and financial procedures to identify areas for improvement
- Support month-end close by taking ownership of transactional activities for specific entities within the group as needed
Financial Reporting Specialist– Skills and experience
- Experience in financial reporting and control within a professional accounting environment
- Strong understanding of GAAP and relevant financial reporting standards
- Exceptional analytical skills with a high level of attention to detail
- Proficient in accounting systems and financial modelling tools
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels
- Advanced Excel skills, for data analysis and reporting
- A degree in Finance, Business, Economics, a STEM subject, or an equivalent qualification
