Deputy Manager - York

Our client are a rapidly expanding Leisure / Hospitality brand based across the UK. They are now looking to recruit a Deputy Manager for their large, fast paced site in York.

This is an exciting time to join a business that provides entertainment and enjoyment for families across the UK. An inspirational brand for customers and colleagues alike.

The role will also not involve any late nights and candidates will have at least one full weekend off per month.

The Role:

  • Assisting the General Manager with the day to day running of a busy, fast paced Leisure site.
  • Ensuring exceptional levels of health & safety and legal compliance are adhered to and fostered as a culture on site.
  • Overseeing the sites busy F&B Operation and conducting regular audits on compliance.
  • Engaging with customers and ensuring exceptional levels of customer service are delivered at all times.
  • Managing a large team of colleagues and ensuring the team know what they need to achieve on shift and are constantly being trained/up-skilled.

The Person:

  • This role would ideally suit a candidate with management experience gained in a Leisure or Hospitality environment with some exposure to F&B.
  • However Retail Managers from busy, fast paced environments are also invited to apply as all aspects the role will be trained and supported with the successful candidate.
  • Outgoing and confident personality, high levels of customer interaction.
  • Attention to detail, experience of audits and managing compliance.
  • Passionate about people, experience of managing large teams from a complex mixture of backgrounds.
  • Highly commercial with an ability to help the site improve and generate additional revenues where possible.
  • Clear evidence of delivering exceptional customer service in previous roles.

The Package:

£32k Basic salary + Quarterly bonus & Strong benefits package
