Chef de Partie

We are seeking a skilled Chef de Partie to join the culinary team of a leading academic institution for a temporary position this summer. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about cooking and thrives in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Prepare, cook, and present dishes within your speciality.
  • Support the Head Chef and Sous Chef in delivering consistently high-quality food.
  • Ensure the highest standards of cleanliness, safety, and compliance with hygiene regulations.
  • Manage and train any demi-chef de parties or commis working with you.
  • Help with the management of health and safety and food hygiene practices.
  • Monitor portion and waste control to maintain profit margins.
