We are looking for an ambitious Sous Chef to join The Owl at Hawnby, a remote food-led Yorkshire pub with a fast-growing reputation. This role suits a chef keen todevelop, take responsibility and progresswithin a young, independent business.
Working closely with the Head Chef, youll help drive standards forward, contribute to menu development, and gain genuine leadership experience.
The Role:
- Running a section to a high standard
- Supporting menu development and kitchen management
- Deputising for the Head Chef when required
The Ideal Candidate:
- Experience in busy, fresh-food kitchens
- Ready to step up and develop leadership skills
- Basic management experience an advantage
- Good knowledge ofHACCP and COSHH
- Motivated, driven and keen to improve
