We are looking for an outgoing, experienced Sales Executive to join our family run, established client near Tockwith. This is a full time position, on a permanent basis. Your own transport is essential owing the the location.

Responsible for maintaining and developing a set geographical area, you will bring experience of nurturing relationships in order to maximise opportunities from both existing and new customers. You will complete product tenders to short deadlines, ensuring an effective sales process whilst meeting and exceeding agreed sales and margin targets.

Required Attributes

  • Experience of working in a sales office
  • Experience in working as part of a team
  • Experience in handling phone calls and emails effectively and in a timely manner
  • Experience of direct contact with customers
  • Great communication skills
  • Attention to detail

You will also:

  • Deal with email and tele-sales enquiries in a responsible way to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Liaise with customers regarding their orders, send order confirmations and discuss alternative products as required.
  • Develop and maintain awareness of the company and its products and use this to help achieve sales.
  • Take a pro-active approach to selling the company’s products and services to customers by follow up calls, and occasionally site visits and attending exhibitions.

Hours of work

8:00am - 4:30pm Monday to Thursday, 8:00am - 3:30pm Friday

Salary

£29,000 + incentives
