KM Recruitment is seeking a Carpentry/Woodwork Tutor Trainer, either Trainee or Qualified, for a full-time, permanent position based in York.
The salary for this role is up to £32,000, depending on skills and experience.
Candidates must hold a Level 3 NVQ in Site Carpentry or a similar qualification, along with solid occupational competency in Carpentry.
Experience in delivering on-the-job training is highly desirable, and candidates should be confident in teaching both theory and practical sessions to learners.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to inspire and motivate learners are essential for this role.

Must hold your own Level 3 NVQ in Site Carpentry, Construction or similar.
Must hold solid occupational competency within Carpentry.
Confident and comfortable to deliver theory and practical based sessions to learners.
Experience of delivering on-the-job training to colleagues is highly desirable.
Must be IT Literate.

Duties include:

Teach/assess learners working towards a Level 3 qualification in Site Carpentry.
Embedding of Maths, English and Digital Literacy.
Ensure sessions are motivating, engaging and develop learners' skills knowledge and behaviours
Monitor student attendance and progress through regular student assessment and reviews.
Provide advice and guidance to learners relating to decision making and progression.
Overcome barriers to learning and adapt delivery to meet learner’s needs.

Organisational skills are a must, as well as the ability to plan your time effectively
Confident and professional with the ability to inspire and motivate people
Quality driven and prepared to go the extra mile for your learners
