Position Summary:
Working at a modern Rolling Stock production facility you will be responsible for a Team who will be engaged in the implementation of a suite of modifications for the new London Underground Stock.
You will be responsible for:
* Achieving targets in line with schedules by planning and allocation of tasks to team.
* Responsible for accuracy and completeness of team and repair paperwork.
* Identify, Implement and facilitate team training requirements.
* Responsible for ensuring compliance with Health & Safety legislation and depot procedures to ensure a safe and accident free environment.
* Maintaining discipline, team welfare and absence monitoring.
* Responsible for ensuring team tooling is controlled, appropriate, adequate and safe for the purpose.
* Undertake Risk Assessments and risk awareness sessions.
* Undertake Team brief sessions at least once a week and as directed by manager.
* Carry out team member reviews
* Take responsibility for the safe, efficient and professional workmanship of oneself and others under your control.
* Carrying out work recording via both paperwork and computer systems

Qualifications / Education required:
* Minimum requirements NVQ Level 3 or equivalent award in an Engineering discipline.
* Minimum 2 years Rolling Stock Modifications experience
