Sonic Summary

The Mechanical Assembly Fitter position requires candidates to work 37 hours per week, with flexible hours available.
The role offers a salary of £XX,XXX, depending on experience, with a requirement of prior production or manufacturing experience.
Key responsibilities include assembling hydraulic and mechanical test equipment, as well as performing various testing procedures on submersible products.
Employees are entitled to 25 days of holiday, 8 bank holidays, a 5% pension, private health insurance, and life insurance worth twice the base salary.
Candidates must be able to read and interpret drawings and sketches to be considered for this position.

The Mechanical Assembly Fitter will work37 hours per week 8.30am to 4.30pm Mon-Thurs and 8.30am to 4pm Friday (flexi-time is available)

Overtime time and a half Mon-Sat and double time Sunday after 37 hours worked

25 days holidays and 8 bank holidays

5% pension,Private health insurance and2 x base salary life insurance

Duties for theMechanical Assembly Fitter include:-

Assembly of hydraulic / mechanical test equipment.
Mechanical assembly of submersible products consisting of structural components, pumps, motors, valves, manifolds, manipulators, specialist external equipment etc.
To perform pressure & electrical/optical function testing of cables, connectors and PCBs.
Perform a variety of tests including external/internal hydrostatic, static/dynamic weight, buoyancy and electrical function testing of PCBs during hydrostatic pressure test.
Accurately and efficiently complete all documentation associated with client/in house testing.
Complete all required QHSE documentation including Risk Assessments, NCRetc.
Carry out maintenance to test equipment as assigned.
