A global leader in special purpose vehicles is seeking a Mechanical Fitter to join their test team.
Candidates should have previous mechanical or hydraulic assembly experience and be proficient in reading mechanical drawings.
The position is permanent, with a salary of £30,000 and requires at least 2 years of relevant experience.
Working hours are Monday to Thursday from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm and Friday from 8:30 am to 4:00 pm, with flexi-time available.

Assembling Hydraulic & Mechanical test equipment
Mechanical assembly of products such as: structural components, pumps, motors, manifolds, valves, manipulators and specialist equipment
Involved in performing testing for various disciplines including electrical/optical, hydrostatic, electrical function and PCBS
Reading and working from mechanical sketches and engineering drawings.

Mechanical FitterEssential Experience/Skills/Qualifications

Must be able to read mechanical engineering drawings
Previous mechanical fitting/assembly experience using hand tools
