Base Salary to 60-65k, bonus, Flex benefits

Out client is a Leading Independent Insurance Broker based in North Yorkshire and due to continued growth, they are now looking for an Experience Insurance Account Executive to join the Business

The Opportunity:

This is an exciting opportunity for a driven and results-oriented Commercial Insurance professional to join our clients expanding team in North Yorkshire. As a Commercial Insurance Development Executive, you will be instrumental in driving new business growth across the region. You will be responsible for identifying and capitalising on opportunities to acquire new commercial clients, building strong relationships, and contributing to the overall success of our client’s business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Actively identify and pursue new business opportunities within the commercial insurance sector across Yorkshire and the North of England.
  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve and exceed new business targets.
  • Build and maintain a strong network of contacts, including potential clients, introducers, and industry professionals.
  • Understand the diverse insurance needs of businesses in Yorkshire and propose tailored solutions.
  • Present compelling proposals and quotations to prospective clients.
  • Negotiate terms and conditions to secure new business.
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams, including account management and underwriting, to ensure seamless client onboarding and service delivery.
  • Keep abreast of market trends, competitor activities, and new insurance products.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities and pipelines.
  • Represent the company professionally at industry events and networking opportunities.

About You:

  • Proven track record of success in a business development or sales role within the commercial insurance sector.
  • Strong understanding of various commercial insurance products and their applications.
  • Established network of contacts within the Yorkshire business community is highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Self-motivated, target-driven, and able to work independently.
  • Strong relationship-building and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to understand and analyse client needs and provide appropriate solutions.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Valid driving license and willingness to travel throughout Yorkshire and the North of England.
