The Role
An excellent opportunity has arisen for a skilled and highly organised Legal Secretary to join a busy Residential Property team. As a key member of the department, you will provide essential secretarial and administrative support to fee earners, helping to ensure the smooth running of files and the delivery of exceptional client service.
This role will suit a reliable and professional individual with a positive attitude, strong attention to detail, and the ability to manage a varied and fast-paced workload efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
Preparing legal documents and correspondence.
Providing full secretarial assistance to fee earners.
Managing diaries and scheduling appointments.
Preparing financial records and assisting with the distribution of funds.
Liaising with clients and third parties in a professional and friendly manner.
Handling telephone and email enquiries.
Maintaining accurate document and file systems.
Contributing to the overall efficiency and success of the department.
About You
Minimum 2 years of legal secretarial experience (residential property preferred; full training will be provided).
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Experience using legal case management systems (e.g. Partners for Windows) is desirable.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong organisational ability and attention to detail.
A confident, client-focused approach with the ability to handle competing priorities effectively.
