Senior/Principal Transport Planner

Vivid Resourcing are currently working with a Local Authority in the North East who are on the lookout for an interim Senior/Principal Transport Planner on an initial 6 month contract.

This role will require 1 day per week in the office with the work including:

• Traffic Modelling and Traffic Signal Design
• Modelling pedestrian and traffic movements.
• Active Travel Schemes, designing cycle schemes and travel plans.

They do not expect someone with all of this experience but the bulk of the work would fall under the third bullet point.

They need someone with between 5-10 years Transport Planning experience ideally in a Local Authority/Consultancy environment.
