The Food Service Attendants are responsible for providing exceptional food service to our campers, guests, and staff. This position requires the employee to prepare ingredients, wash dishes, attend to the dining area during meal times, and/or serve food to campers and staff.    Â
Kitchen - Main food service area for camper breakfast, lunch and dinner throughout the week Â
Burger Grill - Secondary food service area service burgers and hot dogs for lunch and dinner throughout the week Â
The Canteen - Quick service space at the central hub of campus (pizza, ice cream, etc.)  Â
The Grind - Coffee service Â

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESÂ
Operate in a team environment  Â
Maintain health code standards for cleanliness, sanitation, and storage.   Â
Keeps the food service area organized and clean, both the front and back of house.    Â
Assistance with basic prep  Â
Manage check out process and oversee cash register when necessary    Â
Restock all food lines, paper products and grab and go areas  Â
Ensure menu items are served in a safe and healthy manner  Â
Assist young campers during their food and beverage experience  Â
Provide campers and guests that have food allergies with the utmost service  Â
Receive, date, rotate and store food, paper and chemical supplies  Â
Complete opening and closing tasks for front and back of house  Â
Cleaning the serving areas, kitchen, and cleaning dishes and taking out the garbage  Â
Oversee the designated dining area by ensuring tables, floors, and serving areas are well maintained  Â
Report any and all safety and maintenance concerns to supervisor  Â
Other duties as assigned.Â

QUALIFICATIONSÂ
Required Qualifications:Â
Must be 14 years of age or olderÂ
Valid Workers permit required for minors Â
Must be 18 years of age or older for on-site housingÂ
Employment in this position is contingent upon successful completion of all pre-hire background checks, including criminal history clearance through the Pennsylvania State Police (PATCH), child abuse clearance through the Department of Public Welfare, Motor Vehicle Record if required by position  and federal background screening via FBI fingerprintingÂ
