JOB SUMMARYÂ
A Maintenance Technician at Woodward Camp is an integral part of the camper's experience. They will be part of the maintenance staff, maintaining records, keeping Woodward's renowned facilities operating at a high level. A Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing a variety of tasks across the property ensuring the campus remains clean, safe, functional, and welcoming for our guests. These vital tasks may include landscaping, cleaning, removing trash, and performing maintenance on a wide array of features at our facilities. Â

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESÂ
Operate power driven street equipmentÂ
Operate heavy equipment (Skid Steer, Lawn Tractors)Â
Operate vehicles including pick-up trucks and Kubota Side by Side and trailerÂ
Clean and maintain tools and mechanical equipmentÂ
Load, unload, and transport parts, materials and equipmentÂ
Pick up litter, trash and leavesÂ
Respond to emergency calls Â
Perform painting duties, sand, caulk, prime and paintÂ
Perform groundskeeping tasks such as weed eating, mowing grass, and landscaping Â
Operate a pressure washerÂ
Perform snow removal Â
Perform an array of plumbing, electrical and carpentry workÂ
Repair vandalismÂ
Operate spray unitsÂ
Put up and remove seasonal awningsÂ
Install and repair or replace light fixtures, ballasts, switches, and outletsÂ
Operate small hand and power toolsÂ
Operate a variety of air toolsÂ
Assume custodian's dutiesÂ
Assist with guest requests and needs in a timely manner Â
Conduct routine maintenance and safety facility inspectionsÂ
Other duties as assignedÂ

QUALIFICATIONSÂ
Required QualificationsÂ
1+ of years' experience in general maintenance techniques Â
OSHA certified on applicable equipment Â
Must be comfortable working at heights and confined spaces Â
Well versed in electric, plumbing, carpentry, mechanical and fleet maintenance Â
Proven ability to collaborate well across functions and departments, to work as part of a team Â
5+ of years' experience in general maintenance techniques  Â
OSHA certified on applicable equipment  Â
Must be comfortable working at heights and confined spaces  Â
Well versed in electric, plumbing, carpentry, mechanical and fleet maintenanceÂ
Demonstrate broad technical knowledge of management techniques  Â
Provide work related references upon request. Â
Employment in this position is contingent upon successful completion of all pre-hire background checks, including criminal history clearance through the Pennsylvania State Police (PATCH), child abuse clearance through the Department of Public Welfare, Motor Vehicle Record if required by position and federal background screening via FBI fingerprintingÂ

Physical Capabilities: bend, twist, push, pull, stand, lift 50 lbs.  Â
Must be comfortable working in an outdoor and indoor all-season environment.  Â
