JOB SUMMARYÂ
The Parent Program Transportation Driver's overall objective is to ensure the safe transport of campers, staff, and VIP guests.  Additionally they will support all departments with seeking and supplying materials and operational needs.  They will drive in a manner that is safe and reliable, as well as comply with all laws, Woodward's Fleet Vehicle Policy and safety protocols.  Drivers will also maintain confidential communication between parents and staff to support the needs of campers. Â

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESÂ
Provide safe and efficient transportation to campers, staff, and VIPs  Â
Serve with a team of drivers to provide around the clock coverage of transportation duties  Â
Provide on-call overnight coverage on a rotational basis for  transportation services  Â
Interact professionally with team drivers, campers, parents, staff, VIP's , and third party staffÂ
Attend to unaccompanied minor travel, coordinating with parents and airport staff  Â
Professionally maintain continuous and effective communication with Transportation Coordinator, parents, and medical personnel as directed  Â
Greet campers and guests with enthusiasm and hospitality  Â
Maintain the utmost care to the confidentiality of information  Â
Collect and submit all receipts for any authorized camp expenditure Â
Comply with all aspects of Woodward's Fleet Vehicle PolicyÂ
Maintain safe, clean and professional camp vehicles  Â
Ability to drive assortment of Woodward vehicles (sedans, small SUV's, and 15 passenger vans and shuttles) Â
Assist with maintaining a safe, fun and creative environment for our camper, guests and staff Â
Contribute to the overall supervision and safety of all campers Â
Assist in cabin daily cleaning inspections Â
Assist with organizing execution of recreation activitiesÂ
Operate a vehicle to execute assigned duties  Â
Ability to drive 4+ hour tripsÂ
Cabin Counselor duties as assignedÂ
Other duties as assignedÂ

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIESÂ
+/- 20 campers (7-17 years old)Â

QUALIFICATIONS
Required Qualifications:
Driver's License requiredÂ
Must pass a Motor Vehicle Record Chcek Â
Must be able to safety drive a 15 passenger vanÂ
High School degree or equivalent requiredÂ
Provide work related references upon request Â
Employment in this position is contingent upon successful completion of all pre-hire background checks, including criminal history clearance through the Pennsylvania State Police (PATCH), child abuse clearance through the Department of Public Welfare, Motor Vehicle Record if required by position and federal background screening via FBI fingerprintingÂ

PHYSICAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL REQUIREMENTSÂ
Physical Capabilities: bend, twist, push, pull, stand, lift 50 lbs.  Â
Must be comfortable working in an outdoor and indoor all-season environment.  Â
Adhere to all workplace safety practices, expectations, and guidelines.  Â
