This position is responsible for providing social service functions in the behavioral health care setting.  Provides assessments, treatments and case management to patients and families.  Is a resource person to healthcare professionals concerning psycho-social problems and community resources. Maintains performance improvement activities within the department and participates in CQI activities.

Current license to practice as a Social Worker in the state of Pennsylvania.  Masters Degree in Social Work.  Two or more years of previous experience in all aspects of social services with an emphasis in individual, group and family therapy.  One hour of annual stroke education.  Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
