Description

Shift: Monday鈥揊riday with rotating morning and evening shifts, Rotating weekends


Role description:

As a Staff Pharmacist, you are responsible for the accurate and timely review of medications being processed and dispensed at MMP. We are seeking a highly motivated and collaborative individual with a proven track record, experience, and industry knowledge to scale MMP鈥檚 operation and execute our transformation from a regional to a national LTC pharmacy provider.

This position reports to the Pharmacist Supervisor and is critical to the operational success of MMP. The position may require long hours and/or weekend work to fulfill position responsibilities.


Responsibilities (including but not limited to):

路 Interpret and identify prescription orders

路 Verify prescription order entry in the computer system (PV1)

路 Perform prospective drug utilization reviews

路 Final check (Inspect) dispensed prescription products (PV2)

路 Correspond with medical and nursing staff via electronic, fax, and oral communication

路 Achieve productivity and quality requirements

路 Assist with immunization clinics at community partner facilities as needed

路 Leads by example exhibiting the CORE Values each day, adheres to MMP Behavior Standard

路 Encourages teamwork and promotes company philosophy

路 Attends required company meetings

路 Completes all required courses in adherence with PRS compliance system

路 Is prompt and able to perform the required duties of the position on a regular, predictable basis

路 All employees are responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for all

Requirements

Qualifications:

路 Current, and in good standing, Illinois Pharmacist License

路 Long-term care pharmacy experience preferred

路 FrameworkLTC knowledge a plus

路 Able to multitask and work under deadlines while maintaining a positive and productive demeanor

路 Punctual and reliable in all situations

路 Track record of proactively tackling issues in a timely and decisive manner

路 Demonstrated ability to perform under pressure, adapt to changing dynamics, and find solutions that satisfy multiple stakeholders of the business.

路 Excellent oral, written, and listening communication skills, ability to effectively communicate

路 Professional demeanor and appearance with excellent customer service skills

路 Highly organized and attentive to detail
