We are one of the largest distributors of natural stone slabs, poured-in-place terrazzo, and quartz surfacing. We are looking for a Full-Time, Permanent, QC Lab Technician for a Monday through Friday day shift. The primary responsibility is to perform chemical and physical tests required for quality control of raw materials and finished goods.


Responsibilities:

路 Conduct quality checks in-process and finished goods

路 Determine batch and color adjustments for final approval

路 Conducts quality checks as part of the acceptance process for raw materials

路 Administration tasks including preparing reports, keeping detailed record-keeping and correspondence

路 Performs other duties as assigned by the manager

Requirements

What You Need to Get the Job Done:

路 Ability to operate Q.C. equipment; operating mixers to tint small batch samples

路 Strong ability to distinguish between different color samples to determine near color misses

路 Acute attention to detail

路 Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills

路 Ability to manage priorities and workflow

路 Ability to communicate and work effectively with other departments

路 Versatility, flexibility, and willingness to work with constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm

路 History of reliability and accountability
