Our mission is to educate and guide patients toward lifelong oral health. By working with the youngest members of our community, we help establish healthy habits early, leading to lasting results. This position offers the opportunity to work in a team setting with a group of like-minded dental professionals who are passionate about patient care, teamwork, and creating a positive, welcoming environment. Responsibilities Welcome patients and families to the office with professionalism and warmth Conduct pre- and post operative consultations Prepare patients for treatments or checkups, ensuring comfort and reassurance Select, prepare, and arrange instruments, equipment, and materials for procedures Sterilize instruments according to OSHA and CDC standards Assist dentists chairside using 4-handed dentistry techniques Complete lab-related tasks as instructed Provide oral hygiene and post operative care instructions Maintain clean, stocked, and organized operatories Schedule patient appointments and manage accurate records Collaborate with the team and perform other duties as assigned Skills & Attributes Knowledge of dental instruments, sterilization, and infection control procedures Familiarity with health and safety regulations in a clinical setting Proficiency with dental office software and scheduling systems Strong communication and interpersonal skills with children, parents, and team members Organized, detail oriented, and dependable Thrives in a busy, team-focused environment Additional certifications such as N2O administration a plus Bilingual abilities a plus Requirements  Current CPR Certification Sterilization and Infection Control Certification Dental Office Emergencies Certification Radiology Certification Some of these courses are offered by Smile Starters and may require after-hours class attendance to obtain certification.
