How you’ll make an impact in this role

  • Ensure patient safety and optimal care by selecting, dosing, and dispensing complex medication orders for specialized areas, such as oncology and cardiology.
  • Serve as a pharmacy subject matter expert, providing critical drug information, education, and guidance to physicians, clinical staff, and leadership.
  • Drive continuous quality improvement by reviewing medication regimens to identify, prevent, and resolve potential drug-related problems.
  • Guide and oversee technical personnel in the accurate preparation and delivery of medications, upholding the highest standards of safety and regulatory compliance.

What minimum requirements you’ll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

  • Pharmacist credentialed from the Texas State Board of Pharmacy required.

Education:

  • Bachelor's or advanced degree in Pharmacy required.

What additional preferences we're seeking

IV Certification
