We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Paralegal to support our legal team with contract preparation & circulation, document management, and administrative support. The ideal candidate is organized, reliable under deadlines, and comfortable working in a fast-paced legal environment. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Draft, review, and organize legal documents, correspondence to support our vendors, corporate counsel, or contract legal teams  

  • Manage files (physical and electronic) and maintain accurate records 

  • Schedule meetings and manage attorney calendars 

  • Work closely with vendors and cross-functional teams, including government contracts, engineering, and product development, to ensure alignment on objectives and messaging. 

  • Manage and maintain legal and compliance documentation, including NDAs, customer agreements, vendor contracts, and corporate records 

  • Support contract lifecycle management (tracking, execution, renewals, amendments) 

  • Coordinate with external counsel, consultants, and government counterparts as needed 

  • Assist with efforts related to government contracting, security requirements, and related regulations 

  • Support preparation and organization of materials for audits, reviews, and certifications 

  • Support corporate governance activities (board materials, consents, record keeping) 

  • Track legal matters, action items, and deliverables to completion 

Required Qualifications:

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Paralegal Studies, related field, or equivalent work experience  

  • 5 + years of experience as a paralegal or in a legal support role 

  • Familiarity with legal terminology and contract lifecycles 

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal CLMs & CRMs 

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills 

  • Exceptional organizational skills with a high level of attention to detail 

  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a legal team 

  • Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment while managing multiple priorities with accuracy and sound professional judgment 

  • Demonstrated innovation and proactive problem-solving skills, including identifying process improvements and implementing more efficient approaches to support legal operations 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Paralegal certification preferred (e.g., NALA, NFPA) 

  • Experience at a high-growth startup 

Physical Demands:

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.  

  • Occasional standing and walking within the office.  

  • Manual dexterity to operate a computer keyboard, mouse, and other office equipment.  

  • Visual acuity to read screens, documents, and reports.  

  • Occasional reaching, bending, or stooping to access file drawers, cabinets, or office supplies.  

  • Lifting and carrying items up to 20 pounds occasionally (e.g., office supplies, packages).
