In the Role
- Manage the day to day work flow and recurring core processes of the group
- Processing of select Borrower’s assistance approvals with adherence to policy and exception approvals
- Handle resubmissions and appeals on borrower’s assistance programs
- Respond to telephone inquiries regarding decisions render (in bound/out bound calls)
- Answer policy questions and aid in training various visitors that come to department
- Facilitation of meetings and collaborations with peers
- Identify and escalate significant issues to management
- Working closely with management on effective problem solving
- Manage ad hoc projects assigned to department
- Identification and reporting on areas of risk including: Quality, Compliance, and system limitations
- Keeping up to date on company policies and procedures to ensure compliance
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience
- 2-4 years of experience in a leadership or managerial role
- Strong oral and written communication
- Understand company policies and procedures.Â
- Ability to perform in a high volume work environment.
- Excellent PC skills including advanced knowledge of Microsoft office.
- Strong problem solving skills, analytical skills, attention to detail.
- Ability to prioritize work to meet set deadlines.
- Ability to work in partnership with others and in a team environment.
- Ability to work independently, with minimal supervision.
Preferred:
5+ years’ in consumer loan underwriting, previous credit review, process management experience
