路 Conduct occupational assessments, sensory needs assessments, reassessments and evaluate patient's current cognitive, functional, interpersonal, intrapersonal and vocational/avocational skills.

路 Utilizes evaluation methods that are appropriate to the client's age, education, cultural and ethnic background, medical status and functional ability.

路 Participates in the development of patient's treatment plan, including discharge planning goals, based on information received from assessments.

路 Guides patient selection of individual tasks or projects which are appropriate to their defined needs and goals, encourages and facilitates patient participation in activities.

路 Assists and teaches patients in individual and/or group work. Modifies teaching interventions based on evaluation process.

路 Maintains accurate and timely records in accordance with established policies and procedures.

路 Implements interventions, including crisis management procedures, in collaboration with treatment team. Manage utilization of van and transport patients in accordance with established policies and procedures.

路 Participates in committees, Quality Assessment and Improvement activities and attends continuing education programs specific to providing psychiatric care for the population being treated.

路 Complies with all established policies and procedures.

路 Performs other work-related duties as directed or requested.



路 Entry level degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution

路 Licensed in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts

路 Occupational Therapy Registration preferred

路 Holds current National Provider Identifier (NPI)

路 Able to read, write, and communicate in English

路 Crisis Prevention Intervention Training within 1 month of new position

路 BLS Certification within 3 month of new position and must maintain.
