What You'll Be Doing

WORKING CONDITIONS/HAZARDS:

MSDS are available for hazardous chemicals

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:Standing, lifting, pulling and pushing, manipulating a needle and syringe to prepare IVproducts using aseptic technique

REPORTS TO:Director of Pharmacy

CONTACTS: Nurses, Technicians, Aides, Physicians and other Health Care Professionals

SUPERVISES:Pharmacy Technicians and Pharmacy Clerk

MAIN FUNCTIONS: Dispensing and compounding of medications usingpharmaceutical care skills, maintains records requestedby regulations and departmental policy, furnishes druginformation whenever appropriate or as requested, andconsults prescribers whenever needed.

What We're Looking For

EDUCATION: BS in Pharmacy

EXPERIENCE: Hospital/Clinical Pharmacy experience preferred
