What We Offer
The Predictive Maintenance (PdM) Analyst is responsible for execution and analysis of Preventative (PM)/ Predictive Maintenance (PdM) techniques/technologies to determineÂ
functional status of equipment. Based on PM/PdM findings, you will make recommendations on changes/modifications to equipment asset policies and stay informed of theÂ
latest PM/PdMÂ techniques and tools and recommend applications.Â

Major ResponsibilitiesÂ
Execute vibration analysis of equipment vibration readings in assigned area(s).Â
Assist in performing periodic thermography analysis of electrical equipment with oversight from experienced team members.Â
Assist in troubleshooting via vibration analysis under supervision to address immediate issues as needed.Â
Initiate notifications for needed actions; Follow-up on repairs that were undertaken based on PM/PdMÂ readings or trends.Â
Set up computer software with machine data and establish/adjust threshold levels for each machine, with training and support provided.Â
Follow up on unexpected failures to determine if inspection/analysis techniques require modification to provide the proper indication of potential future failure.
Collaborate with engineering and rotating equipment experts to determine required changes to FMEA/RCM/EMPÂ
Administer PdM activities in assigned areas, ensuring compliance with activity schedules, with team support.Â
Support unit engineers and reliability personnel through data collection and analysis to assist with RCA to eliminate recurring failures as needed.Â
What You Offer
- High School diploma or equivalent with at least 7 years of mechanical/rotating equipment experience or Associate’s degree with at least 2 years of mechanical/rotating equipment experienceÂ
- ISO Category II Vibration CertificationÂ
- The eligibility to apply for and obtain a Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC) within a reasonable timeframeÂ
Preferred QualificationsÂ
ISO Category I Thermography CertificationÂ
SAP competenceÂ
Familiar with PM/PdMÂ principlesÂ
Experience in reliability centered engineeringÂ
Knowledge & Skills:Â
Familiarity with SKF Aptitude Analyst softwareÂ
Basic understanding of design, operation, and maintenance of rotating equipment.Â
Familiarity with PdM technologies and introductory analysis skillsÂ
Awareness of general maintenance procedures and work processes, such as planning, scheduling, and executionÂ
Proficiency in basic MS Office applicationsÂ
Developing foundational analytical and problem-solving skills.Â
Basic oral and written communication skills, with a focus on learning effective communication within the organizationÂ
Good interpersonal skills with the ability to be a productive member of a teamÂ
