Regular Night CNC Machinist

Job DetailsJob Location: Beaumont Location - Beaumont, TX 77705Position Type: Full TimeEducation Level: High School/GEDTravel Percentage: NoneJob Shift: AnyJob Category: ManufacturingThe CNC Machinist is responsible for setting up and operating CNC drills and machines:  Wear proper PPE at all times on shop floor and follow all safety protocols and procedures  Read prints for required specifications and dimensions Measure parts using different measuring tools (tape measure, dial calipers, dial indicators, micrometers)  Remove slag using grinders  Operate overhead cranes on daily basis to load machines with parts Cut supports to lengths needed using a hot saw  Occasionally operate forklifts  Perform other job responsibilities as assigned, which may include performing basic tasks when such a need arises  QualificationsKnowledge, skills and abilities High School Diploma or Equivalent  Must be a highly safety-oriented individual   2 years CNC Drill experience required  Previous experience in the manufacturing and fabrication of shell & tube heat exchangers, pressure preferred vessels and/or towers Problem solving capabilities  Ability to follow instructions and work well with others Verbal communication skills Ability to be punctual  Ability to work overtime if needed  Physical requirements Ability to lift 50 lbs., sit, stand, walk, climb stairs, reach, etc. Work environment may include high noise areas, working at heights, confined spaces, congested work sites, shift work, duration rotations, shop setting, etc.
